Serving as a election's poll worker is an opportunity to be part of the electoral process up close and personal. Each town/city needs various poll workers to help administer their elections.

Maine Political Parties
There are two official political parties in Maine: Democratic, Green Independent and Republican that may participate in primary elections. (Note: although some unenrolled candidates choose to designate themselves as “Independent,” there is no “Independent” party in Maine.)
